NEW FAMILIES and goes to right here at Everest. The focus of our evening will be forming a strong family community and giving you the opportunity to build a relationship with your mentor.
On from at Everest, we will be holding the last evening college event of the year. One of our highlighted areas of growth in our parent survey this year was to better support parents in knowing how to prepare themselves and their student for the college application process. For this reason, the College Readiness team has put together an evening with autonomous breakout sessions meant to share important and relevant information on high priority topics: “College Support for First Generation/Undocumented Students,” “Paying for College,” “Supporting Students With Special Needs,” “Naviance 101,” Creating a Best Fit College List,” and how to target “Highly Selective Schools.” We will also have a 12th grade student and mentor panel this evening to answer your most pressing questions and to provide anecdotal support for how to best strategize during the college admissions process.
This event is strongly recommended for all 10th and 11th grade families, but all grades are welcome to attend.
All Junior and Senior Parents should plan to attend the very important college information night where we will be talking about financial aid and college testing!

Please plans to come to Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 19th from 7-8:30pm. Meet your child's teachers and mentor. Sign up for your family PLP meeting. Learn more about our academic program. Connect with other Everest families. We hope to see you there!
We still have lots of openings for volunteers to help with the Annual Everest Camping Trip on September 3-4, 2015. Please click here for more information and to sign up!
